Security, compliance, and governance
Course Overview
Rules of the house, then locks on the doors
The story: Running an apartment building has two sides. One is the rules: house rules, who's in charge, and how you prove to the city inspector that you follow building codes. The other is protection: locks, cameras, guards, a record of who delivered what, and safe habits for handling residents' mail.
In AI/AWS terms: The course has two halves.
Governance and compliance for AI systems (the rules)
- Governance and compliance requirements for AI
- AWS services for governance controls and compliance
- Data governance strategies
- Approaches to implementing governance
Securing AI systems (the protection)
- Security and privacy considerations
- AWS services and features for securing AI
- Source citation and documenting data origins (lineage)
- Secure data engineering best practices
For the exam: This course feeds the security, compliance, and governance domain. Expect many "which AWS service does this" questions.
